Ms. Scott is a broadly accomplished financial services executive with over 25 years of comprehensive experience in delivering innovative and cost-effective operations and technology solutions for equity, derivative and fixed income product lines. Her successful career as a senior-level manager at Drexel Burnham Lambert, Credit Suisse, Paine Webber and Bankers Trust provides the industry expertise and background that have made her a recognized subject matter expert in middle- and back-office operations for financial services firms.
With her extensive proficiency as a financial writer and instructor, over the past ten years Ms. Scott has developed and conducted hundreds of training seminars for broker/dealers, investment managers, custodians, technology vendors, and regulators. Participants consistently praise the practical application, real-world examples and interactive case studies provided by in her seminars. Programs cover a wide range of topics such as the Life Cycle of a Trade for equity, fixed income and derivative products, Securities Lending, Collateral Management and Corporate Actions. Representative audiences for these programs include personnel from Operations, Technology, Risk Management, Sales, Compliance, and Audit departments within financial service firms and the vendors that service them.
Besides delivering financial industry training seminars, Ms. Scott maintains a flourishing management
consulting practice providing advisory services for both buy-side and sell-side firms. These services
encompass new business development and analysis, and strategic process re-engineering, with a
concentration on Middle and Back Office Operations for a variety of asset classes and business lines. Her project experience incorporates projects developing operations risk management, and third -party vendor identification, assessment, selection and customization of technology platforms.
A resident of New York City, Ms. Scott is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and the recipient of a Masters in Teaching (M.A.T.) from Rutgers University in New Brunswick NJ.
